The NSW Chief Scientist and Engineer thanks the community for the more than 200 submissions to the independent review of the state's coal seam gas (CSG) activities.

On 19 February 2013 the NSW Premier announced that he has requested the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer to conduct an independent review of all coal seam gas (CSG) activities in NSW; with a focus on the impacts of these activities on human health and the environment.
