STEM Student Competition Sponsorship Program
The Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer (OCSE) supports high-tech, high-impact research by NSW students attending domestic and international research competitions, that align with the NSW Government strategic priorities.
The assessment panel includes independent representatives from the NSW public sector and the broader research community.

Tips for applicants
- The application form should not exceed the specified word limit
- Focus on why the competition is important (for example, alignment with the 20-Year NSW R&D Roadmap, the NSW Industry Policy and the NSW Innovation Blueprint)
- Include an accurate budget with appropriate detail
- highlight why sponsorship is needed, and how grant monies would be spent
